In my Google Docs, I have a list of artwork that I’d like to hang on my walls one day. I’ve been tending this list for years, shifting entries around as my tastes change and new things catch my eye. Ciaran Duffy’s paintings of women in space have a steady spot near the top. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose, I’d go with Susan Helms. I’ve got a serious affinity for pictures of aurorae viewed from orbit.

If you’d like to put some of these on your own walls (you lucky duck), you’ve got two options: original paintings, or prints.
