Did any of you have a dollhouse? A miniature house of your own, in your own little world, with your own little characters (or, in my case, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Maybe there were pets. Or lovely neighbors. Or maybe there were bodies buried in the imaginary basement. This creepy dollhouse was built by French artist Marc Giai-Miniet, who had a slightly morose audience in mind when building this epic dwelling. Care to take a tour?

Can’t you just picture tiny Tim Burton-inspired figures keeping house in this joint? This joint that, apparently, has a deserted submarine in the basement?

Most dollhouses don’t offer basement apartments, let alone basement apartments that might also be haunted by tormented souls.

Um, what do you think is in those bowls?

This part of the house starts out nice enough, then descends into a dark, demented nightmare.
