We’re excited that there’s going to be a Daredevil Season Two, and so is Daredevil himself, Charlie Cox. In a recent interview, he dropped a couple of hints about the upcoming season, including when we can expect it to drop.
According to Comic Book Resources:
“We’ll begin shooting in the second half of the year,” Cox [says], offering a hint of the show’s production schedule. “[S]eason two will come out about this time next year. Again, I’m imagining all this, but they’ll probably do Iron Fist or Luke Cage at the same time, followed by the other one [of the two] in the first half of 2016 and then maybe Defenders in the second half of 2016 or the beginning of 2017.”
So….April-ish 2016? It’s a long wait, but we’ll live—it’s the price we pay for binging television. Cox also commented on whom he’d like to see in the next season of the show:
“Based on the show we’ve created, which is very grounded in reality, I’d like to see Punisher maybe show up. A little bit of Elektra maybe. I wouldn’t mind Black Widow making an appearance, and you can’t think about Daredevil for too long without thinking of Bullseye. I don’t know when or if or how that would happen, but it’d be cool if it did.”
Just have to say that I love that Cox is completely nerding out about his own show. Here’s hoping that at least some of his predictions are true! Whom would you like to see in Season 2 of Daredevil?
