Kincső Nagy, a Hungarian design student, took as her final project the complete revamp of the covers and interior illustrations for the Harry Potter series. And these beautiful glowing cut out covers for Prisoner of AzkabanThe Goblet of Fire, The Chamber of SecretsThe Sorcerer’s StoneThe Order of the PhoenixThe Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows are just the tip of the iceberg.

Nagy made new bindings and covers for all seven books, but fully illustrated Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, including “interactive” illustrations that she hoped would “not distract attention from the plot, but add to the story.” Amazing!

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
