Just saw #TheForceAwakens with friends from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Spoiler: It was amazing! pic.twitter.com/HVvdVDesfA

I know Prime Minister Justin Trudeau isn’t ‘perfect,’ but compared to the last guy, he’s pretty damn great, so I think I’m justified in fawning over him just a little bit.
The night after Trudeau was elected, he was issued an invitation to the Canadian premiere of The Force Awakens, possibly because he’s had a reputation for some time as a complete and total dork.
The Force is strong with this one. The 1st invitation to the Cdn premiere of #TheForceAwakens goes to @JustinTrudeau https://t.co/DLtrn3yN7T

Look at this dork apologizing for the dorky opinions he had as a kid.
.@HeerJeet When I was a child, I spoke as a child. Here’s my reconsideration: https://t.co/sFM6uCBqIz #StarWars https://t.co/MZzxsRWeAc

Look at this dork and his dorky Halloween costume:
Regardless, after receiving the Force Awakens invitation, Trudeau decided to bring along some friends from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (none of the Prime Minister’s own children were in attendance at the screening). CHEO Foundation director of communications Len Hane explained,
I guess the first thing he thought of was to bring some children from the hospital. We were quite excited to get the call. Obviously we’re happy he thought of the kids at CHEO and it was a wonderful thing for him to do.
Looks like an awesome time was had by all.
