Yesterday, Ghostbusters star and comedian Leslie Jones tweeted that there were no designers willing to dress her for the red carpet. You’d think that after Beyoncé gave a whole speech about how high-end labels refused to dress the “four black country curvy girls” that were Destiny’s Child, they’d know better. Inevitably, gross commenters are responding to Jones’ tweet telling her to buy her own clothes, lose weight, and generally being body-shaming buttheads. Jones proceeded to roast a good number of them with blocks.

Jones responded to a tweet that blamed her team for poor management that her publicist and people have been asking around for months, but “Nobody wanted to.” It’s really the loss of the designers that they’re missing out on a branding opportunity, and it sounds like Jones won’t be forgetting this. Honestly, I hope she puts the names of these designers on blast. Designer Christian Siriano then stepped up and reached out to Jones. While nothing is yet confirmed, the two have set up a meeting and Siriano says he’d “love to dress her.”

Hearts on Fire also tweeted Jones to ask whether she’d like some sparkle, to which she replied “hell yeah.” We’re sure that Jones will look fire on the carpet, and we’re looking forward to it.
