I freely admit I wasn’t as emotionally invested in Matt Smith’s Doctor as I was Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant, but this tugs at my heart strings. When we first heard he was leaving the show, the BBC promised a special goodbye and thank you video, and it turns out he filmed it in Detroit, Michigan during a break on Ryan Gosling’s How To Catch A Monster.

In other brief Doctor Who news, Jenna-Louise Coleman has decided to officially change her credited screen name to Jenna Coleman. And my fast-typing hands thank her for it.
