We love sharing Cut Videos’ 100 Years of Beauty video series with you, as we think its a fun window into the the lives of women of different cultures all over the world! But if we’ve learned nothing else from Kevin Bacon, we’ve learned that 1) we need more full frontal nudity from men in film and TV (especially if the men are Kevin Bacon, apparently), and 2) that we’re striving for equality in representation in all areas. To that end, Mode Glam has provided us with this awesome look at 100 Years of Men’s Swimwear. Because women aren’t necessarily the only people concerned with fashion (nor should they be the only ones quickly removing and putting on clothing in viral videos).

What I find most interesting about this is that men’s swimwear started out as really covering, got really small, but then has gotten longer as fashion moved toward the present day. Meanwhile, it seems like women’s swimwear just gets skimpier? What do you think?

And to those of you attracted to masculine-types? You’re welcome. Happy Friday.
