Spider-Man and Deadpool Cosplayers Do a Dance-Off

This is less of a dance-off between Spider-Man and Deadpool and more of a coordinated routine between the pair that ends up getting a little … romantic? In a move that will surprise no one who knows anything about the goofy flirtations that permeate a lot of cosplay performances (I’m a cosplayer; I know the “fan-service” drill), this totally sick dance video ends with Spider-Man and Deadpool almost kissing. Except Spider-Man totally chickens out. Awww, Spider-Man! (Deadpool respects consent, of course.)

I think this joke could be interpreted as a homophobic one, but since several of the commenters are vocally in favor of the Spideypool pairing, this video might still be worth sharing in the name of reclamation. And it’s also pretty adorable, so … hey, it could go either way?

Oh, also the dance is good.
