Some of you might already be aware that the Miyazaki classics My Neighbor Totoro and Howl’s Moving Castle will be released on Blu-ray for the first time this week. Some of you might be itching to get your hands on some copies. Some of you might be hesitating because you already own Totoro in several formats already and you’re worried this might seem excessive. We have a proposal:

How about we give them to you?

We’ve been offered two of these great Studio Ghibli prize packs to give away:

They include:

  • 1 Blu-ray Combo Pack of My Neighbor Totoro
  • 1 Blu-ray Combo Pack of Howl’s Moving Castle
  • 1 My Neighbor Totoro 7″ Plush
  • 1 Paperback Copy of Studio Ghibli: The Films of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata
  • 1 Hardcover Copy of The Art of My Neighbor Totoro: A Film by Hayao Miyazaki
  • 1 $20 VISA Gift Card for Movie Snacks

It even includes snacks! How can you say no to that?

So how you do you get your hands on the ones we have to give away? First, you’ll need a Twitter account. Second, you’ll want to follow The Mary Sue. The easiest way to do that is to click this button:

Then you’ll need to tweet this bolded message:

I just entered @TheMarySue’s #StudioGhibli giveaway contest! http://bit.ly/11VsVK3 #totorosumbrella

Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
