Watch Live: Orbital Sciences Launches Cygnus Capsule to International Space Station 9/18 at 10:50AM EDT
If you can't go to Virginia, just watch the launch online right here.
Wednesday morning Orbital Sciences will launch its Cygnus cargo craft to the International Space Station on board one of its Antares rockets. Weather and other factors permitting the rocket will lift off at 10:50AM EDT and you can watch it live right here.
The rocket will launch from NASA’s Wallops Flight Center in Virginia, so if you’re nearby, look to the skies. It won’t be as visible as the LADEE launch which was at night and could be seen from great distances, but you could still catch a glimpse if you’re in the northeast.
While we wait for the launch, here is Orbital Sciences Launch Systems Project Manager John Steinmeyer speaking with NASA Public Affairs Officer Kyle Herring on Space Station Live on Tuesday September, 17th discussing the launch details and preparation:

- A frog photobombed the last Orbital launch when they sent the LADEE to the Moon
- The last Antares launch had a few delays, but finally put something amazing into space
- The International Space Station recently changed commanders
