IGN.com has an interesting report up today. They say “multiple sources” have told them Telltale Games, the folks behind the recent Fables game, The Wolf Among Us, and The Walking Dead, is working on a similar escapade based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books (or the HBO Game of Thrones series, it’s not clear). Telltale’s Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing, told them, “We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.”

Perhaps they’re actually just testing the waters to see if fans would be interested in something like this? I know I definitely am. I’d like to put my vote in now for Brienne of Tarth being the main character. We’ll keep you updated but remember: When you play the Game of Thrones game, you win or you die. Just like pretty much every other game.
