The filmmakers and fundraisers behind mini-documentary and Internet darling Caine’s Arcade are setting their eyes on bigger things. This week, they announced the formation of a nonprofit organization, The Imagination Foundation. They’ve used the short film in schools around the world to teach kids about engineering and entrepreneurship, and now they’re launching their second major project, The Cardboard Challenge. Spurred on by the legions of videos of kids taking Caine’s lead and building their own cardboard arcade machines, they’ve invited kids to build their own cardboard contraptions and bring them out on October 6 to show them off in the company of other young cardboard engineers. You can check out The Imagination Foundation’s website for details on getting involved.
