For me, something that really made Agent Carter so good were all the playful exchanges between Peggy and Jarvis. Those two could riff on anything and I would listen for days, easy. So watching this new clip wherein Peggy’s fresh off the plane in a weird, wacky world (read: Hollywood) reuniting with Jarvis is just like a, well, reunion.
Oh, and we get to meet a brand new character in this clip, too! This clip introduces Bernard Stark, who seems tickled pink to be a real player in the coming days of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s west coast outpost. He’s really sticking his neck out for the organization, and really, that’s just downright admirable. I hope he picks up more confidence along the way because it really seems like he feels like he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Either way, you know what they say about birds of a feather. Just as long as they don’t make him jump through any flaming o’s on the way to the top.
