This would keep Comic-Con in San Diego until 2015.

Historically, there have been concerns about crowding at SDCC, with many being of the opinion that the event has outgrown its location.  For better or for worse, said event will remain in said location for the next four years.

Just think: By then we’ll have a couple of Green Lantern movies, The Avengers will be out on Blu-Ray already, and we’ll have seen Star Wars in 3-D.

If we can make it through the Mayan apocalypse, that is.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
