Earlier this week the annual SFX Sci-Fi awards gave author Neil Gaiman the nod for Outstanding Scriptwriting, for his work on this season’s “The Doctor’s Wife,” an episode of the author’s childhood-beloved Doctor Who.

Naturally, he reacted with grace and restraint.
