Comic-Con Registration Down Again After “Issues”

Well, it looks like we weren’t the only site experiencing technical difficulties this morning (for which we sincerely apologize to our readers): Three weeks after Comic-Con 2011‘s website was forced to stop selling attendee badges due to technical problems, this morning was to be the morning that they rebooted. However, they’ve put up another announcement, which states that they experienced further “issues” and are currently exploring new registration options.

From Comic-Con’s site:

Once more, unfortunately, there have been issues with Comic-Con registration. So we have, again decided to close it down.

We are well aware that many people have taken time from work, school or other activities and others woke up very early. There really is no way to convey our level regret for this turn of events.

We are currently researching our registration options.
