Shueisha Has Made Jump Festa 2022 Available Online for a Limited Time, Here’s Where to Watch

Jump Festa is an annual event sponsored by Shueisha, the publisher behind Shonen Jump and the provider of a lot of the series making up my stacks of manga. While we technically already know what was announced at last year’s December event, a lot of that information came from trailers as compared to, say, seeing prominent figures in the anime/manga industry at the panels where these announcements were made.

For the first time in the history of the event, Shueisha is uploading archived footage online so fans outside of Japan can watch the panels for themselves instead of relying on those folks in fandom who are kind enough to tweet about the panels and translate what’s being said into English (seriously, we don’t thank those fans nearly enough). Last year was also the first time Jump Festa was a hybrid event, allowing fans in Japan to attend in-person or experience everything online.

What presentations will be available to watch?

Keep in mind that some content may be unavailable depending on which region you live in. That being said, there are 15 manga stages that will be available On Demand with subtitles. These include:

• DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai
• World Trigger
• Boruto: Naruto Next Generations
• The Prince of Tennis II
• Dragon Ball Super
• Bleach
• Chainsaw Man
• Platinum End
• World’s End Harem
• Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
• Jujutsu Kaisen
• Dr. STONE
• My Hero Academia
• One Piece

Again, we already know what was announced during these presentations, but this will be a unique opportunity to see the Japanese cast and creatives on stage talking about their respective series. This will be especially exciting for series such as Bleach, which announced its highly anticipated anime return, and manga series like Spy x Family, which will air its anime adaptation on April 9th, 2022.

When and where do you watch the videos?

Jump Festa will be available on Jump’s official YouTube channel beginning on March 7, 2022, at 7:00 AM (PST). The videos will only be available for about two weeks and will be taken off the page on March 21, 2022, at 7:59 AM (PST).

I’m glad that the videos will be up for a couple of weeks to give us a decent amount of time to watch everything. I’m personally excited to see presentations for My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, and several others on the list. Honestly, I hope this is a thing that Jump Festa continues to do with their event from here on out. Making things like this more accessible to fans is always a good thing, in my opinion.
