Agent Carter Finds Its Madame Masque, Ana Jarvis, and More

Recommended Videos

Agent Carter has just cast a few roles, including its (supposed) Big Bad for the season, Madame Masque! According to Deadline, Wynn Everett (The Newsroom) will play Whitney Frost, the superstar actress-turned-villain. She gets her villain moniker from the Dr. Doom-style mask she wears to hide a disfiguring facial injury she received in a plane accident escaping from Iron Man. They also picked up Currie Graham (House of Lies), who’ll play Frost’s husband.

Also, big deal: we’ll finally get to meet Jarvis’ wife, Ana Jarvis. The “free-spirited” woman will be played by Lotte Verbeek (The Fault in Our Stars). Since Peggy has now found herself clear on the other side of the country in Hollywood, she needs someone to look after her. That someone is Ana, and we are so excited to see this all play out.

Personally speaking, Madame Masque is one of my favorite supervillains, so I’m double stoked to check out this new season of Agent Carter. What do you think, though? Did they nail it with these casting choices?

[UPDATE]: As pointed out by our more eagle-eyed readers, Reggie Austin is also on board to play a potential love interest for Peggy. His addition is significant in that he’s the first person of color with a recurring role in the series.

Thanks for pointing that out, transgojobot!
