Aliens Picked the Right Face to Touch

Mad and Hel in Death Becomes Her

Outside of my love of all things Hollywood, the thing I probably love second most is aliens. I have loved space and the unknown galaxies above us for as long as I can remember and so whenever those worlds come together? That’s magical. And apparently, aliens have chosen the right person to connect with. Well, deep in the sense that they are close enough to touch her face.

Legendary actress Goldie Hawn talked recently about her run-ins with aliens on an episode of the Apple Fitness+ podcast Time to Walk. She talked about a lot of other things, too, but her brush with extraterrestrials is more important because what?

Hawn recounted the time when she began having encounters with extraterrestrials, starting at age 20 when she was living in southern California.  “That was a time when, you know, there was a lot of UFO sightings,” she said. “I remember this so clearly. I went outside my door, and I sat on the little ledge, and, and I looked up at the dark sky. And I saw all these stars. And all I could think of was, ‘How far does this go? How little are we? Are we the only planet in the whole, wide universe that has life on it?’”

Hawn described a number of experiences she says she had with aliens throughout the years, including visiting her while she was filming First Wives Club. Years later she realized one important fact: They’ve touched her face. “They touched my face,” Hawn said on the podcast. “They touched my face, and it felt like the finger of God. It was the most benevolent, loving feeling. This was powerful. It was filled with light.”

If I was an alien, I’d also touch Goldie Hawn’s face

Hawn is beloved and rightfully so. I used to watch Overboard all the time as a kid because I loved her and Kurt Russell very much. If I was an alien coming to earth and I had to pick a celebrity to simply just bask in their presence, it’d probably be Goldie Hawn and also Carrie Fisher. David Bowie was an alien so why pick one of your own kind?

Hawn is a perfect choice, mainly because she’s someone who is receptive to this sort of mysterious event. There are those who have weird encounters in their lives and they choose to ignore them. Hide away, pretend they don’t exist. Hawn, from the podcast stories, embraced them. Again, if I was an alien, I’d happily interact with someone like that. Plus maybe they were just really big fans of Death Becomes Her or Shampoo and wanted to give some love back to the woman who made their lives better up in space. We can relate to that, aliens.
