Some people would like to forget that The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 exist, but not Andrew Garfield. The actor has swung back into action as Peter Parker–but, don’t worry, it’s not for another film. He did it as part of a segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which is scheduled to air later tonight. He stars in the upcoming film Hacksaw Ridge, directed by a man previously known for his sexist and anti-Semitic remarks.
Tom Holland, on the other hand, will take over the role when the latest reboot Spider-Man: Homecoming heads to theaters next year. And if you’re worried about any beef between both Peter Parkers, you can relax. As we previously reported, Garfireld says the new Spidey flick is in great hands and that he’s excited for Holland. The studio also has faith in the film, as they’ve already begun working on a sequel.
