Angry Birds Evening Gown Worn To Gala By Rovio Executive’s Wife

The puzzle game Angry Birds has come a long way from its days gracing iPhone screens all over the world. Rovio has grown a vast empire with the success of the game and extended their marketing reach to merchandizing of all types but did you ever think you’d see the day when someone would be wearing an Angry Birds evening gown? If it was going to be anyone it makes sense the trend would start with a Rovio executives wife. But which bird did she decide to don? Find out after the jump!

Of course she would go with the original red bird! That’s Teija Vesterbacka, wife of Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka, at the Finnish Presidential Palace for the annual Castle Ball in honor of the country’s Independence Day.

It’s certainly no Björk swan dress as it’s more of a classic gown design, although, the bird’s eye placement? I see many a fight breaking out between her husband and curious “pigs.”

Vesterbacka’s husband is actually known for sporting Angry Birds sweatshirts on a regular basis but opted to let his wife represent their pride and joy at the event and went with a regular tuxedo.

What do you think of the fashion statement? A bit cheesy perhaps but I think it’s hysterical and give her major props for rocking it.
