Twitter Had Some Thoughts on Aquaman This Weekend
BRING ON THE RED WIGS AND WEIRD CAMEOS
Aquaman is taking over the internet, and whether that is a good or bad thing remains to be seen. Opinions range on the film, but we can’t stop talking about Arthur Curry and Mera. It’s a movie of epic proportions, taking on the sea and all its creatures, even an alligator in the ocean? (I still don’t know what Patrick Wilson is riding in that movie and I just want to understand).
So, we took to Twitter to see what is happening with Aquaman fans and folks who went in unprepared. Many loved it, many didn’t understand, it but one thing is certain: we all want to talk about it.
Obviously, there were some great jokes.

So much so that it took a second to realize what was happening …

Mera, the ‘love interest’ to Arthur is must more than just the woman at his side. In fact, without Mera, Arthur wouldn’t be alive. So to say we’re obsessed with her is an understatement.

We all came out of the movie and instantly decided that we would die for Mera.

One thing is very clear about Aquaman: We’re all still in love with Nicole Kidman.
I can’t tell if Nicole Kidman looked better in Batman Forever or #Aquaman 👀 pic.twitter.com/v7PqDvlRYp

At the end of the day though, maybe we loved the movie a lot.

Because Arthur Curry did what he had to do even though he didn’t believe in himself.

Aquaman is in theaters now and honestly, go see this movie. It is a wild time, and you’ll come out with a strong opinion and a need to discuss what you just saw. Is there maybe three different movies in one? Yes, and it may not make sense, but there’s Jason Momoa and Amber Heard and some cool fight scenes in it for you if you decide to make the plunge.
