Best Wedding Ever: Batman Marries Wonder Woman
The relationship between Batman and Wonder Woman was never consummated on the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series, but this is even better: This week in Devon, England, fanboy Neil, 46, and fangirl Sharon, 40, tied the knot dressed as the Dark Knight and the Amazon Princess, The Sun reports.
Of the comic-themed wedding, Neil said: “We’re not particularly traditional, and we wanted to have a fun day with our friends.”
The best man was, of course, Robin, and The Joker was even more fittingly the master of ceremonies. The Powerpuff girls also appeared in the form of bridesmaids. We’re always happy to see a loving union of geeks!
As for the fictional universe, the two superheroes weren’t as lucky. I leave you with a video of what could’ve been:
