Your time to shine, Internet.

Alert all the talented artists in Internet fan communities: BBC America is looking for Orphan Black and Doctor Who (Capaldi Doctor/season 8 only) fan art to put on display at San Diego Comic-Con!

They explicitly want art that they can display—all rights to any selected art will remain with its original creator, which is great for them to get out of the way up front. The rules for submission are (via BBC America on Tumblr):

  • If you have fanart from Orphan Black or Doctor Who Season 8, save it at its highest resolution, under 9MB (otherwise we won’t receive it), as a JPEG or TIFF file.
  • Send it to artsubmission@bbcamerica.com and include your Tumblr username.
  • If your artwork is chosen to be featured, we’ll respond with a release form for you to sign and send back to us.

They’ll be accepting up to three pieces of work per artist and request that each piece be in its own separate email with a submission deadline of June 12. Have fun! We can’t wait to see your beautiful contributions at SDCC.
