Blood! Creepy kids! Ominous music!
Orphan Black will be wrapping up its second season tonight (sob), but BBC America is set to fill the Saturday night void with their newest sci-fi series, Intruders. So far, this one’s sounding promising. Based on the novel by Michael Marshall Smith, Intruders centers on a secret society that defies death by “taking refuge in the bodies of others.” It’s got X-Files executive producer Glen Morgan at the helm, and a cast including John Simm, Mira Sorvino, James Frain, Tory Kittles, and Millie Brown. I haven’t read the book, but the premise is intriguing, and I’m heartened by the presence of an X-Files alum. As for the trailer…I’ll let you judge for yourself.
Intruders will debut on Saturday, August 23rd, at 1O PM EST. Who out there will be checking it out?
