That Time That Twilight’s Bella Knocked Thor “Right Out Of His Close-Up”

We Have Done the Impossible and That Makes Us Mighty

Twilight star Kristen Stewart is currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman with Thor star Chris Hemsworth. While rumors may be running wild about her Twilight co-star/boyfriend Robert Pattinson getting into a fight with the Australian actor on set, it seems Stewart is the one throwing down. She recently admitted to punching Hemsworth in the face while shooting the new film.

Stewart appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the other night after her, Pattinson and their Twilight: Breaking Dawn co-star Taylor Lautner had their feet, hands and signatures immortalized in cement on Hollywood Boulevard. She relived an event that happened while filming Snow White that both impressed her and made her feel terrible at the same time.

“It made such a sound,” Stewart said of punching Hemsworth in the face while filming a scene. “Girls, if you’ve ever wondered if it works, it works! It literally spun him right around…I basically knocked him right out of his close-up.”

If you thought this was connected to the rumored Pattinson/Hemsworth fight, think again. “I was supposed to miss him,” the actress said. “I’m not proud though. Instantly, tears sprung to my eyes. Like, ‘Ahh, are you okay?’ But it will definitely be in the movie.”

Stewart answered in the affirmative when Leno asked her if she left Hemsworth with a black eye after the incident. “And a big lump on his nose,” she added.

You can watch Stewart recount the happenings with great vigor and animation in this clip. (Just fast forward through all the fan-screaming in the beginning.)
