Memes That Summon the Best Energy for 2019

Make sure your 2019 energy is tight.

We can all agree that this year was a bit rough. If not for you personally, then for the world at large. We had an unfit president continue his reign of terror, we had mass shootings and bombings, and we read terrifying climate change reports suggesting that we will destroy the planet soon if we don’t change our ways. Basically, we watched the world on fire and didn’t know how to stop it.

So maybe with 2019, we make a resolution to go in with the fury of Winston Duke with a baseball bat in the trailer for Us. We make sure we’re ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead and do what is best for us all.

Or maybe we can just look at these funny memes about 2019 energies and laugh for a bit.

2018 was rough for many of us so going into 2019, let’s go lean in to going in as employed and leaving as the employer.

Some of our energy just needs to come in the form of … well, not giving a f*ck anymore.

Or maybe just bite a wire and know you’ll be fine.

Because one thing about the New Year is important: We have to remember to just not let the past follow us.

We have to remember to tell those we care about that we love them whenever we can …

And we have to always be the baddest bitch that ever was.

Or we can be honest with ourselves and remember that it is just going to be the same, because we’re creatures of habit.

Have a very happy New Year. Whether you change your ways or go to the gym for three weeks and then quit again, at least do something to make yourself happy. 2019 doesn’t have to be the same old thing that 2018 was. In fact, I’d prefer it if it was very far from it.
