June 19th sees the release of Betty & Veronica #266 with a variant cover by none other than Jill Thompson! Archie Comics has given The Mary Sue a look at the fabulous cover as well as an exclusive preview of the issue, which features their take on the classic Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.

The hit Storybook Tales continue with “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs” In this fairy tale re-imagining, an evil queen (AKA Veronica), asks her magic mirror, “who is the hottest of them all?” to which the mirror replies, “Snow White,” (or Betty, as we know her!). Can the vain queen rid herself of the beautiful Betty, or is she relegated to live out her life as the second hottest of them all? With some familiar faces rounding out the seven dwarfs, prepare for a surprise twist on a classic story as this series of fables through the Archie lens continues!
