Would you kindly release iPhones with bigger screens, Apple?

Last week, BioShock publisher 2k Games’ UK arm teased something for the original BioShock with the image above, and it turns out that the image’s “apple” theme was intentional: The original BioShock is coming to iOS.
If you missed BioShock back in 2007 and own a relatively new iPhone or iPad—iPad 4, iPad Mini 2, iPad Air, iPhone 5, 5S, or 5C—this is a great chance to pick it up. BioShock was my favorite new series from the last console generation, and the original is easily the best.
There’s no price or firm release date yet, but it’s due out before the end of summer with a “premium price.” According to Eurogamer, the port faithfully recreates the game with only minor visual downgrades and is compatible with the iPhone game controller for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with touchscreen controls.
Check out this video of the game in action from Polygon for a good idea of what to expect from the port:

- Fox News used the BioShock Infinite logo to “defend the homeland”
- Have some video game-themed vigors
- This BioShock tattoo is awesome
