Bojack Horseman Ready to Take on the World in New Season 2 Trailer

♫ Back in the 90's, I was in a very famous TV show *neigh*... ♫

Bojack Horseman, that one show your friends keep talking about like it’s changed their lives or made them realize some really brutal things about themselves, is returning for season 2. And it seriously doesn’t look like it’s pulling any punches this time.

There’s something… special about Bojack Horseman. It’s a show that lampoons Hollywood fantastically with amazing sight gags and some really great visual puns. But it was also surprisingly cerebral, brutally honest when you least expected it to be, and made waves last year for bucking comedy’s male as default tendency. It sounds strange, of course, to be talking about a show featuring an alcoholic, washed up actor cartoon horse, but it shows how disarming this series—and its characters—can be.

Saddle up, grab a bottle of whiskey, and let’s ride off into the sunset of self-realization and introspection. Bojack Horseman returns to Netflix on July 17th.
