“Braingate” Allows Paralyzed Woman to Control Robotic Arm With Her Mind

This video from Business Insider series <em>Game Changers </em>is incredible. It shows “Braingate,” a piece of technology that allows paralyzed patients to control a robotic arm using their brain, in action. It also gives an update on where the technology is at currently and where it could be going in the future.

Braingate isn’t new, and the video clip of the woman lifting the bottle is from a few years ago, but it’s still remarkable to see it in action. The Game Changers piece focuses on Braingate’s place in the medical equipment landscape. As the technology develops, costs will come down and it will be more accessible to patients who can benefit from the technology. (via Business Insider) Previously in controlling things with brains
