Remade Intro Sends Breaking Bad Back To The 90s
I don’t know what would possess a person to remake the intro for Breaking Bad as a high concept dramedy from the 1990s. I’m just glad that the spirit took them, because this video is absolutely tops. Who knew that Walt, Jesse and the rest of the gang would have been so at home on the WB right after Buffy? Now, we all do — or at least, you will once you check out the video below.
From the serif font to the individual introductions for all your favorite characters, this whole video feels exactly like watching television in high school, only slightly less depressing because I know I’m not in high school anymore.
I’ve got just one question — why in the world didn’t Bob Odenkirk get a call out in the credits when Saul Goodman is clearly the “wacky neighbor” of the Breaking Bad universe? I can’t tell you that — I’m just as confused as you are. All I can tell you for sure is this — I’m going to have Foreigner’s “White Lie” stuck in my head all day long. That thing is a mad ear worm
