Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice SDCC Exclusives Include Wonder Woman Barbie

See, Marvel? DC remembers that Wonder Woman is a thing, even if it's not her movie!

And the parade of SDCC Exclusives continues! Warner Bros’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will have a huge presence at this year’s con, and they’ll be bringing some exclusive merch with them to whet your appetite for the upcoming film. And unlike Marvel, who seem to have trouble remembering that Black Widow is an Avenger, this film is including Wonder Woman in their merch, regardless of her supporting role in Dawn of Justice. Your move, Marvel.

And here she is in all her glory. Dawn of Justice’s Wonder Woman as portrayed by Barbie will be coming out in the spring as part of Mattel’s Dawn of Justice line. While some might balk at the fact that the main bros of the film, Batman and Superman, get “action figures” while Wonder Woman gets a Barbie doll, think about it like this – she’s 12 inches tall, while Batman and Superman are only 6. Because she’s a FREAKIN’ AMAZON. I have zero problem with this.

In this two-pack from Mattel, the 6-inch-tall figures have fabric capes, as well as display bases that combine to form the film’s iconic logo, and lights-and-sounds packaging teasing one of the big moments from Dawn of Justice. They also look like they’re about to hold hands. Awww!

And from Mattel’s Hot Wheels line comes the Batmobile that you can buy, and a LIFE-SIZED version of the Batman v Superman Twin Mill car that you can see only at San Diego Comic Con next week!

Get excited, everyone! Geek Christmas is almost here!
