CAH Community Director Jenn Bane said:

We created this scholarship because we want to put a spotlight on women who are passionate about science. It’s so important that young girls know they have a future in any field they want to explore, especially math and science, which are historically male-dominated fields. We felt like we could make a huge impact in this area by funding a woman’s education, and helping her become an ambassador for her field.

They’ve assembled 50 women in the STEM field, including representatives from “NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Harvard Medical School, the Smithsonian Institution, the Adler Planetarium, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as well as TED, NSF, Huxley, and Hubble fellows.”

Head to their website to learn more about how to submit a video application. to learn more about the scholarship and the judges, or to order a science pack to show your support! The winner will be announced spring 2016.
