Wendy McKee has been getting a lot of attention lately for her kitty cosplay and does this surprise us? Not in the least. “I would probably be considered a crazy cat lady,” she told TODAY.com. “My house seems to be the place that people drop off cats that they don’t want anymore.”

McKee has a love of photography and cats so she combined them both in an effort to spread the word about adoptable feline friends. And she used her own sewing skills to create costumes from Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, Star Wars, and beyond. “It’s sometimes embarrassing to go to the store because they always ask what project you’re working on,” she said. “When you say you’re working on a cat costume, they look at you a little weird.” Don’t worry, Wendy, you’ve found your perfect home on TheMarySue.com/
