Things We Saw Today: Charlie Cox Talks About ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Cameo and Leaks
Charlie Cox spoke to Comicbook.com’s Adam Barnhardt about his small, but delightful, cameo in the Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he reprises his role of lawyer Matt Murdock, who doubles as the vigilante Daredevil. The moment was leaked early, and that, on top of all the speculation, made it hard to keep quiet. Cox himself, of course, isn’t quite as up to date on all the speculation, rumors, and leaks going around as the fans are, and he was taken by surprise when he found out that his cameo had leaked.
“I come sometimes, I walk into interviews like this and I’m blissfully unaware that there’s probably a whole conversation about something that I’ve never even… I do know that there was, before the movie came out, before Spider-Man came out, there was a screen grab going around of the scene that is in the movie,” Cox shared. “Someone sent it to me and I was like, oh wow, that’s it. That is that scene.”
I let out a huge squee of joy when the scene came up because I absolutely adore Cox as Matt Murdock, and now that Disney+ has introduced the Netflix MCU shows to the streaming service, the future is limitless.
