Chewable Licorice Pencil Supports Your Bad Habit

When borrowing a pencil from a friend or coworker, every now and then, you embarrassingly realize that you’ve been chewing on the end of it the whole time, left visible teeth marks, and hope your friend doesn’t notice when you return the pencil. We’ve all been there, and Italian designer Cecilia Felli understands your oral fixation and has created a pencil to support it. Called Matitizia, the pencil is made of licorice, with the core that contains the lead stopping about halfway up the pencil, so one can safely chew on the end without having to taste wood.
