Let Chewbacca’s Dulcet Tones Lull You Into a Post-Holiday Stupor
On this, the most, uh… fuzziest of holidays, why don’t you take a page out of the Most Fuzziest One’s playbook and sing a Christmas carol in what is perhaps one of the most obnoxious ways possible? I speak, of course, about Chewbacca, the laughing fuzzball, whose dulcet tones provide a fantastic tapestry of sound to the perennial Christmas classic, “Silent Night.”
Okay. I know I just said all that nice stuff about howling “Silent Night,” but if I was being completely honest with you (and I like to think I do that here on The Mary Sue Dot Com), I’m totally the Han in this video. Usually when some other relative starts drunkenly belting out music (I’m Filipino, so karaoke is like, in my blood), I start walking in the opposite direction, even if that means walking right back out into the cold, cold rain. It’s not that they’re bad or anything, it’s just… everyone’s so competitive. At least, that’s how it is in my experience.
Anyway.
I will say this: Chewie certainly lays it all out here, and this is already worlds better than the Life Day song, I’ll tell you h-what.
