Chris Evans Apparently Turns Into a Cat When Scared, As Evidenced on Ellen
Chris Evans is kind of a prankster, apparently. He loves jumping out and frightening people, and while I personally do not approve of being frightened myself (I will fight you on this), I can see why folks would be totally okay with having a mini-heart attack every time this happens. At least Captain America would be nearby to catch you and take you to the hospital. But still. Anyway, Ellen was fully aware of this when she invited him onto her show, where she’s gotten up to some pranks of her own, so she decided that after allowing Evans to prank fellow guest and Civil War star Elizabeth Olsen, she’d get back at him with a prank of her own.
After talking about Evans’ adorable new puppy (named Dodger, oh my gosh so cute), she distracts him with a few more questions. Of course, this is the perfect setup to have none other than Iron Man (or at least, someone dressed up like Iron Man) pop up to surprise the hell out of him. What’s so perfect about this is that Evans almost completely loses it while Olsen keeps her composure. She calls him on it a bit, saying, “Yeah, I was fine!” while Evans does his whole “grabbing his chest” thing that he does when he laughs too much. You know what I mean. Yeah.
