Chris Hadfield Recorded an Out of this World Album in Space
Sorry. Couldn't resist.
Somewhere amongst all the science, zero gravity floating, being a general awesome guy, and capturing the hearts of millions worldwide, astronaut Chris Hadfield found the time to record an entire album in space. We’ve already seen him amazingly cover David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,” which still gives us chills when we listen to it. But he’s got a bunch of original songs as well, and they’re actually pretty good.
Hadfield’s first single, “Feet Up,” has a catchy, upbeat melody that sticks with you long after it’s done. The video is pretty adorable, and so are the lyrics.
This is the long trail
Though I’ve taken many trips
Cast off and set sail
Hanging on by my fingertips
Houston I feel fine
The mission is go
Do a thousand front flips
Who’ll ever know?
Hadfield’s album touches down on October 9th.
