Stephen Colbert Breaks Character, Talks to Girls About Catcalling
No truthiness here, friends.

In their “Ask a Grown Person” segment, Rookie Magazine interviews celebrities by giving them questions to answer from young people seeking advice. This time around, they’ve enlisted the help of Stephen Colbert (because grown men can totally have cave trolls on their desks, guys), who’s stepping away from his egotistical Colbert Report character to speak seriously and openly—and right out of the gate, he gets a question from a 14 year old girl asking about catcalling and rape jokes.
It’s not a perfect answer, I don’t think, but I also feel like Colbert is trying to be as respectful as he can be, and his point about how men think they can get away with more because of how society devalues women is solid. What do you guys think?
