Watch the “Countdown to Comet ISON” Live Google+ Hangout, Have All Your Comet Questions Answered [Updated]
ISON came all the way from space for you. The least you could do is attend its hangout.
[Update 4:25PM EST] The stream has ended, but you can still watch the whole thing right here, because the Internet is forever.
[Update 3:08PM EST] The stream is live! Hooray!
[Update 3:05PM EST] The stream hasn’t started yet. We’ll post it here as soon as it does.
Comet ISON should be at its brightest this month as it draws nearer to the sun, and you can get all your questions about how best to view and photograph it answered in a live Google+ Hangout by Astronomy Magazine and Discover Magazine editors. We’ll post the stream here when Countdown to Comet ISON begins at 3:00PM EST.
This will be the only chance you ever get to see ISON, since its path around the sun will fling it out of our solar system and off into the depths of space. Astronomy Editor-in-Chief Dave Eicher and Discover Editor-at-Large Corey Powell will host the stream and provide information on how you can best enjoy ISON, as well as history and facts about comets in general. RSVP at the Google+ event page and show your support for things happening in space!
