Fire and Blood Birthday Candles: Emilia Clarke Celebrates On Set With Targaryen Cake

You are in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, Mother of Dragons, and BIRTHDAY GIRL. That’s right, Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke turned another year older this week, and marked the occasion of her Name Day with the traditional feast that is befitting the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Astute observers of the Internet will note that Wikipedia lists Emilia Clarke’s birthday as May 1st. Apparently these are lies propagated in a nefarious plot by the usurper Baratheon to discredit our beautiful ruler. Either that or they just celebrated later due to filming. Or you know what? Maybe the khaleesi just wanted a cake. She can celebrate her birthday whenever she wants. She’s the khaleesi.

Anyway, here’s that cake. It is stupendous.
