Danbo’s (and Wall-E’s) Adorable Journey
And All Was Right With the World
We were wondering if you might be interested in joining a very friendly cardboard robot on an adventure. Maybe meet up with some other robots that might be hanging out. Anyone coming?
Danbo is tiny. Maybe Marcel the Shell With Shoes On could offer some advice.
Upon leaving, someone pelted Danbo with a water balloon the size of a red grape.
Then Danbo got caught in the rain, so it was just going to be that kind of day.
That, naturally, turned to snow. Stupid Northeast.
So Danbo turned lemons into lemonade and built a friend to kvetch to. After building a staircase to build the aforementioned friend.
Meanwhile, Wall-E was out looking for Danbo. They’d talked about meeting up at some point, so Wall-E thought it would be a nice surprise to come visit … until he got lost.
Not quite sure what to do or where to go next, Danbo looked up into the sky and wished for a reliable GPS device. Like a Tom Tom.
And at the same time, Wall-E looked up into the sky and wished for Danbo’s love and eternal friendship. (He hasn’t been the same since EVE left for a job at the new Martian branch of Buy ‘n’ Large.)
But then, they found each other and did acroyoga for the townsfolk.
And then they pitched the whole thing to Pixar! (Fingers crossed, fingers crossed …)
