Women of mid-twentieth century “doodle pads” were placed in provocative and often-fetishized poses so they could be further sexualized via sketching, but artist David Jablow sees the figures as a template for so much more. The only ass that matters to the women of Jablow’s doodles is bad-assery, and these characters have it in spades.
