Wondy the Riveter, and The Rest of DC Comics’ Gorgeous Bombshell Variant Covers

Great Hera!

[slideshow id=1295]

DC Comics has released all of its variant covers for June, on the theme of nineteen-fifties style bombshell posters featuring its major female characters, from Arisia to Zatanna and Mera and Lois Lane in between. The drawings and designs are lovely, and some are even already being pushed to posters, prints, and statues. Still, I agree with DCWKA when I say: why couldn’t we get some dude bombshells? Where’s Nightwing? Where’s Lobo? Where’s the Martian Manhunter and his barely-there costume?

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
