Cook Like A Superhero, Thanks to Kids’ Books From the 80’s

This four recipe cookbook was produced as an insert in the July 1981 issue of Woman’s Day, and scanned and introduced to the internet by Branded in the 80s. In addition to Supe– I mean, Mild Mannered Burgers, it features “Quick” Apple Crisp,

Some vegetable bad guys,

And Invisible Banana French Toast, the greatest mystery that Batman has ever faced (probably because, judging by his ability to burn soup in an issue of Gotham Knights, he couldn’t cook his way out of a paper bag).

Man, I bet Alfred makes great breakfasts. If only there was ever anyone awake to eat them.
