We’re Swooning Over These Variant Covers from DC’s Pride Anthology

DC Comics is already prepping for Pride Month with a sneak peek at their 2022 queer comics anthology. DC Pride 2022 #1 features stories about LGBTQIA+ characters from across the extended DC universe. The 104 page anthology will include an introduction written by Nicole Maines, who played DC’s first trans superhero Dreamer/Nia Nal on the CW’s Supergirl. The anthology will feature some of our favorite queer characters from our favorite queer and allied writers and artists.

We can look forward to stories about Alysia Yeoh and Batgirl (Jadzia Axelrod and Lynne Yoshii), Aquaman/Jackson Hyde (Alyssa Wong and W. Scott Forbes), Green Lantern/Jo Mullein (Tini Howard and Evan Cagle), Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (Dani Fernandez and Zoe Thorogood), The Ray (Greg Lockard and Giulio Macaione), Superman/Jon Kent (Devin Grayson and Nick Robles), Tim Drake (Travis G. Moore), and more.

But celebrating Pride isn’t limited to June. DC will be releasing Pride variant covers for some of their most popular series. Let’s take a look at some of these gorgeous variant covers:
