Disney+ Is Giving us All the Content Without Taking All Our Money!

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in Falcon/Winter Soldier Marvel streaming series

A Disney+ streaming service that isn’t going to cost us an arm and a leg? Does Disney finally like us? The new streaming platform that had the internet buzzing last night is only … wait for it … $6.99 per month! Last night, Disney had a shareholder meeting where they continued to release original content coming to their own platform this November 12th.

We all knew these shows were coming, but the confirmation and news about the price is what really has us excited. I personally figured I’d be spending upwards of 20 bucks a month just to watch Bucky Barnes roll his eyes at Sam Wilson. Instead, I only have to pay $7!

Not only are we getting original content, but the platform will offer some of our Disney favorites and movies that used to play on the Disney Channel back in the dark ages of the ’90s and early 2000s. Can’t wait to watch Smart House again.

Some of the original series we can see on the platform are:

  • The Mandalorian
  • Falcon & Winter Soldier
  • WandaVision
  • Loki

And much more. Basically, all our nerdy fantasies are coming true, and we’re even getting classics from Fox. Since the merger happened, we’ll see all 30 seasons of The Simpsons on Disney+. So … Disney owns Hollywood at this point, right?

With the incredible list of content coming up, fans still had ideas as to what they’d also like to see.

Clearly, though, we’re all just excited for the amazing shows we’re going to get.

Worried that the price will go up? As this Twitter user points out, Disney owns its properties, so we may have some security on that front.

Personally, I can’t wait to sign my soul over to Disney yet again and watch all these programs as if my life depended on them.
